Smoke Testing is a type of software testing that is performed after a build version was release to ensure that the most of important function work. Its result help QA team if that build is stable enough to proceed with further testing.

The objective is not to perform exhaustive testing so the test cases only choose to cover the critical functionalities of the system

Example: verify that the website can login successfully, check UI breaking, search function is ready, etc.
